I was well into my 20s before I discovered the blues, a guitar tutor encouraged me to listen to Muddy Waters and a few other artists, which is how I got started.   The Whisky Rev show is about building a community around the blues music (recognising that blues bleeds into many other genres of music) so that we can share our love of it and give some support to artists during a time when it’s harder to make a living in the industry.   I love getting to know folks and we are privileged to live in a time where geography is no longer the barrier that it used to be, so get in touch if you’d like to talk blues!

The Whisky Rev started out as a whisky enthusiast moniker, but as whisky and blues is such a natural pairing, it seemed the obvious identity for the show!
