Ian McHugh has been in love with the blues since he first discovered it at 15 years old. He’s been a part of many bands performing across the UK at festivals and bars and currently he fronts the band Blues is Truth.

He presents Blues is the Truth and has a reputation for playing real blues music and delivering a very wide definition of what the blues is. It’s his greatest pleasure to introduce new music to the world and actively seeks out the freshest talent for the show.
