Born, bred and still living in Brabourne, Kent. My love affair with music started after buying a wind-up gramophone and a box of 78′s at a village fete. This was followed by many nights drifting off to sleep listing to Radio Luxemburg and my lifetime passion was established.
In 2000 I was offered an overnight Rock Show on an RSL for Lark FM and I stayed with them until they finally won a Radio license for Ashford and became KMFM a few years later. I moved to AHBS Hospital radio and presented the Tuesday Night Request Show for the Staff and Patients of the William Harvey Hospital. In 2008 I decided to investigate internet radio and hosted my own show ‘Molten Gold’ a mix of Classic Rock & Blistering Blues on Reach On Air.
Then in 2011 I was approached by AHBS Community Radio to present a ‘specialist show’ as part of their live evening output. That show became ‘The Wood and the Wire’, a Contemporary Folk, Roots and Acoustic showcase that I co-present with Mr Keith Peverly. In addition, I’m also one of the hosts for ‘Borough Blues’ along with Messrs Kellam & Peverly. Which brings us pretty much up to date. I have extremely wide ranging and eclectic tastes covering all bases from blues, rock, country, through folk, jazz, soul and everything in between. Most of all I just enjoy playing music in the hope that I will bring something new to the listeners that they will enjoy.
