Jim’s first introduction to the Blues was via Ray Charles, Peter Green, Eric Clapton, B.B. King, Robert Cray, SRV, Bill Wyman’s Rhythm Kings and Paul Lamb & The Kingsnakes, to name a few. Jim and his friend Tom promoted the Harlow Blues Festival back in 1997 with Paul Lamb as the headline act and he has recently agreed with Paul that he will provide “The Blues Club” weekly intro theme music. Jim also worked as Volunteer Activities Co–ordinator at High Barn music venue in North Essex.

Jim intends to promote local Blues clubs, artists, bands and gigs. He will be playing the “Best in Blues/Rock and Roots” as well as some live music later in the year. The show features the latest national and international releases, featured artists and a weekly gig guide. It will also include some Classic and Roots Blues to hopefully satisfy all Blues fans and other listeners.

Current favourite bands /artists are Jo Harman, Marcus Bonfanti, King King, Ian Siegal, Babajack, Will Wilde, Kat & Co. and many more.
